The Tampa PC Users Group, Inc. (TPCUG) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to helping IBM compatible computer users in Tampa, Florida and surrounding areas.

TPCUG provides PC owners and potential owners with a focal point for PC information and support. It offers a friendly atmosphere for learning and exchanging PC information and ideas, obtaining assistance, and taking full advantage of Personal Computers. In other words, members help each other. The Tampa PC Users Group serves members throughout the Tampa Bay Area.

The Tampa PC Users Group offers:

  • Monthly meetings
  • Communication activities (newsletter, classes)
  • Special Interest Group meetings (SIGs)
  • Help available on call
  • Internet WWW Home Page

At monthly meetings, PC user group members hear presentations from national & local software vendors, participate in questions-and-answer sessions, and converse with people who share common PC interests.

The group publishes a monthly newsletter containing helpful hints and experiences. We also maintain a library of shareware programs accessible to our members.

Our members have diverse interests and experiences to share. Volunteers are urged to lead Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These groups cover subjects such as: WEB PUBLISHING, WORD-PROCESSING, SPREADSHEETS, DATABASES, AND INTERNET ACCESS. Presentations by representatives from leading national companies as well as local vendors and our own members are the focal point of our meetings. Our emphasis is on LEARNING!
