The Tampa PC Users Group, Inc. (TPCUG) is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to helping
IBM compatible computer users in Tampa, Florida and surrounding areas.
TPCUG provides PC owners and potential owners with a focal point for PC information
and support. It offers a friendly atmosphere for learning and exchanging PC information
and ideas, obtaining assistance, and taking full advantage of Personal Computers. In other
words, members help each other. The Tampa PC Users Group serves members throughout the
Tampa Bay Area.
The Tampa PC Users Group offers:
- Monthly meetings
- Communication activities (newsletter, classes)
- Special Interest Group meetings (SIGs)

At monthly meetings, PC user group members hear presentations from national &
local software vendors, participate in questions-and-answer sessions, and converse with
people who share common PC interests.
The group publishes a monthly newsletter containing helpful hints and
experiences.
Our members have diverse interests and experiences to share. Volunteers are urged to
lead Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These groups cover subjects such as: WEB PUBLISHING,
WORD-PROCESSING, SPREADSHEETS, DATABASES, AND INTERNET ACCESS. Presentations by
representatives from leading national companies as well as local vendors and our own members are the focal
point of our meetings. Our emphasis is on LEARNING!
