President's Message

I have very important news to convey to all club members. Due to the low traffic on the BBS, the TPCUG BBS has been closed down by decision of the board of directors. The BBS is a very vital part of our history and was a club mainstay for a good many years. I can recall in years past that, even if you didn’t know much about the club itself, if you were interested in computers, you knew that the Bits-of-Blue BBS was top-notch. The quality of the BBS was the result of two club members - Kevan and Mary Sheridan.

There isn’t any way that we can repay Mary and Kevan for all the literally thousands of hours they’ve devoted to running the BBS all these years. It’s been a selfless dedication to something they fervently believed in. So the Sheridans are due our most heartfelt thanks. They can certainly rest assured that they have made an impact on the quality of the Tampa Bay area. u
